One of the best Solar and Wind Energy Companies

WeKnow Technologies is now introducing combined Wind and Solar Energy Solutions!  We buy in volume and pass the savings to you!  We can beat the price of any professional system designer! We provide ground mounted PV systems or custom roof designs based on your properties orientation and roof layout.

Prior to offering solar energy solutions, we sharpened our pencils and asked the tough questions: Why do so many solar companies go out of business? The answers.. it looks like an easy business anyone can get into (many have tried), but it requires professional design. Very similar to the small wind industry, there are installers and then there are renewable energy professionals. As a leading renewable energy professional, WeKnow Technologies will professionally review each proposed site and design for maximum site production. We have nearly installed over 400 Wind Turbines, we will now (try) install solar on every home in Texas and Oklahoma!

WeKnow Technologies is a Solar Energy / Wind Systems Integrator and Energy Management Company dedicated to facilitating the implementation of renewable energy technologies for commercial, industrial, governmental and residential home owners.

Please send us your requirements or schedule your FREE Energy Reduction Plan and Renewable Energy Design.

Our combined solutions often provide a 3-6 year return on investment.  After that... it's just FREE POWER FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

Energy Experts since 1989 and Renewable Energy since 1999.

GUARANTEED WARRANTY COVERAGE!
Unlike most things consumers buy or build the TEXAS STATE LAW: requires an "Electrical Contractors License " to advertise, write contracts and install Wind Turbines or Solar Panels.  The contractor license must be displayed on web sites, business cards, contracts, invoices and sales agreements. RePower Energy Wind Turbines

RePower Energy Wind Turbines

The Skystream Wind Generator produces 240 volts of electricity at the rate of 2.4 kw and ties directly into your electric meter. There is no need for batteries but you can add them if you want to store the power. Otherwise, the electricity generated from your wind turbine will just spin your electric meter backwards as the wind blows. There are several tower options which vary from 33', 45', 55', 60' & 70 feet tall.
Small wind turbines for residential or Farm & Ranch use are refered to as the new cutting edge technology but the company making the units has been around for over 20 years and has 170,000+ units working worldwide. To have a wind turbine you need to be outside of the city limits and have a few acres to provide us access to install the turbine. We bring in a large drilling truck to install the foundation and will bring in a concrete truck as well. Once the foundation is completed and has had time to cure, we return to put the wind turbine tower up.
If you are interested in going green to help the environment while saving more green for your pocket, give us a call at 830-931-5777 or check out our website at -

Energy Efficient Folding Homes by Blu Homes

Blu Homes makes these impressive folding homes inside a giant building.  They say that by ordering your home from them, you will save significant time and money compared to a stick-building on site.  The time savings stem from the fact that the homes are built indoors and are therefor not subject to problems and delays caused by unpredictable weather.   Blu Homes aren't cheap, but they appear to be very high quality.

Blu Homes least expensive model, "The Origin", starts at $130,000.  Two are shown here.  They come in studio, one, and two bedroom variations, with dimensions of 18'x24', 18'x36', and 18'x48' respectively.

Once the home arrives to your site, it is craned onto the foundation you had built for it.  Then it is unfolded, set-up, and ready for occupancy within days.  These may be folding homes, but they are sturdy and intended for permanent habitation.

Craning a Blu Homes factory -built folded home onto a foundation.
After a customer has chosen a model, and decided on customizations, the house is built in the factory in about a month or less (compared to about five months to have a standard stick-built home built on site).  Blu Homes says their homes are exceptionally energy efficient and "green."  They have six models to choose from, and each model has a subset of floor plans with variations such as size and number of bedrooms and bathrooms.  Some models have only one level, while others have two.  Prices range from $130k to about, well, to about way too much for most of us ($600k).

"The Element."  Prices start at $170,000.

Element 2 bedroom floor plan.  Also available as 1 bedroom and larger footprints and up to 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths.

Congressional Solar Energy Tax Credit

Congressional Solar Energy Tax Credit Bill Creates Affordable Renewable Energy Systems for Homeowners

A part of the bailout package recently passed by the U.S. government included a generous solar energy tax credit bill which will dramatically reduce the cost and hasten the payback to homeowners for installing residential solar energy systems. A full 30% federal tax credit is now available for solar PV and thermal installations starting January 1, 2009. The Renewable Energy Division of S+H Construction, Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts, one of the greater Boston area’s premier residential renovation and custom home building companies, designs, integrates and installs solar electric power (PV), solar thermal hot water, and geothermal heating and cooling systems.
Their services include everything from system design and installation through maintenance of residential equipment as well as energy conservation consultations. S+H is a fully certified turnkey installer and performs all of the paperwork necessary for homeowners to qualify for and obtain the significant rebates offered in Massachusetts to those who install PV.
“With the new expanded tax credit passed by Congress coupled with the savings from Commonwealth Solar, the existing tax rebate program from the State of Massachusetts, consumers will now be able to save 50% off their renewable energy projects, ” notes Doug Hanna, co-president of S+H Construction. “Now is the time to do it and I expect a lot more interest and inquiries about solar energy from homeowners, especially now with economic times being tight and winter oil bills coming due.”
S+H Construction is a multi-award winning firm recently named “Best General Contractor” in 2007 by Boston Magazine and “Best Kitchen Remodeling” in the 2008 Boston Home Magazine Awards. Specializing in renewable energy, custom home building, residential renovations, historical restorations, landscaping and site work in the Greater Boston area since 1979, S+H Construction is located at 26 New Street in Cambridge, MA.
